Jul 27 2006, 11:20 AM EDT New Holland? Is it New York City or New York State you're referring to here? I checked wikipedia, and it seems that the City was previously called New Amsterdam and the area it was in was New Netherland Territory. Do you find this valuable? |

Sep 29 2006, 10:55 AM EDT Oops, state. I knew the city was New Amsterdam, but I thought I knew the state was New Holland, too. This is the problem with using historical facts you remember most vividly from elementary school. Anyway, it's fixed. Do you find this valuable? |
