A Wizarding trashy tabloid-style newspaper. Allegedly its name was chosen because the prospective its writers took on the news was ‘music to the ears’. Its contents and the usual sensationalism that any subject within was treated to has given the name a different meaning; a long running media joke is that anyone who read it for prolonged periods of time will be driven insane.

The 'journalists' working for the paper that Salem Students are most familiar with are Charles Mincing and Chester J. Crawford, two individuals who have shown up and been decidedly unwelcome as they covered a couple of events held at the school.

There is also a 'Mr. Kirsch' mentioned who appears to either own and/or edit the paper.
