  • Salem Institute, the first magical school (of the European bent) in the New World, is established by its first Headmaster, Benjamin Flemming.

-312 SA / -307 SI
  • Original Salem Institute closed.
  • Commencement of building the new Salem Institute school on grounds encompassing 200 acres, this time further inland from the Muggle community of Salem, Massachusetts. Architect Jacob Spencer employed to design the new manor.

-312 to -297 SA / -307 to -292 SI
  • Classes continue in the parlor of distinguished widow, Madame Renée Renalden.
  • Construction continues at the site for the new school.

  • Benjamin Flemming retires
  • George Momd takes over as Headmaster of Salem Institute.

  • December: Roger Tallow's apprenticeship is cancelled.

  • September: First lot of RPed students start at Salem.

  • September: Third lot of RPed students start at Salem.

  • September: Fourth lot of RPed students start at Salem.

  • January: Lucinda Marnett is sent to stay with her family after the weather problems starts to severely affect her health and the school is left in the charge of Manfred Bulla.
  • May: Weather problems are discovered to have been inadvertantly caused by a Prairie Elf. Steps are taken to make certain that the school weather charms are again safe and functioning.
  • September: Eighth lot of RPed students start at Salem.
  • September: Third lot of RPed students start at Sonora.
  • December: Marnett returns and takes the reins of the school back at midterm.

4 SA / 9 SI
  • June: Second lot of RPed students graduate from Salem.
  • September: Ninth lot of RPed students start at Salem. Current school year.
  • September: Fourth lot of RPed students start at Sonora. Current school year.
  • December: Marnett is ousted from Sonora, by directives from the more powerful governmental fractions of the west (or, to be more precise, by the workings of the SA, who, now that she had gone from being a member in... standing, to an ex-member held in contempt, saw fit to remove her from the position by careful use of it's member's influence). Manfred Bulla is promoted to Headmaster, and Kiva Kijewski is taken on as Deputy.

05 SA / 10 SI
  • June: Third lot of RPed students graduate from Salem.
  • September: Tenth lot of RPed students start at Salem. Upcoming school year
  • September: Fifth lot of RPed students start at Sonora. Current school year.
