Lucie has had a rather different upbringing than her cousins and even her siblings. Her eldest cousin, Chris, is to one day become Head of the Dupree family, which displeases her father greatly. As such, he has pushed his jealousy and revenge onto Devian, causing quite a bit of psychological disturbance. Danae, being the middle child, was generally ignored by their father in favor of Devian, claiming he would one day be Head, and by their mother in favor of Lucie, who was simply darling. While Lucie received the same traditional Pureblood upbrining, it was Danae that the critism went to, causing a rivalry on Danae's part. Her parents, never critical of her, being the baby, missed out on the superiority complex of Purebloods and doesn't view people as being different from one another. Lucie is a rather happy, pleasant girl, who is willing to be friends with anyone and generally enjoys life, thinking it should never be taken too seriously. And she hates turnips. | |
