Hey everyone! My name's Kane Sato, I'm a Japanese American (Second Generation on my mom's side) born and raised in good ol' Cincinnati, Ohio. My grandparents on my mom's side came to America with a few dollars in their pockets and now they own their own restaurant. It's doing pretty well, my mom helps run it. She's an accountant, so she mainly does the books. My Dad's Grandparents moved here back when they were still young. Both of them have passed on, but Grandpa has a nice Software company that my dad now runs. He wants me to take over, but...eh. I like playing on computers, not so sure I like designing software.

Anyway, I found out I was a Wizard just after my eleventh birthday. At first I thought it was some weird joke one of my friends was playing on me, but a couple days after getting the letter, this man came and talked to me and my parents. My mom got all excited about it cos it just proves all those games I played had some real meaning to them, yeah? Dad was a bit more hesitant, but eventually we got him to agree to let me go to Salem.

By the way, getting to Salem makes my stomach sick. It was so awesome though! I was holding this totally normal thing and suddenly it felt like my stomach was being twisted and I landed on my face right infront of the school! I have no idea what the heck happened, but I was there and that was cool. The school is HUGE! I kept getting lost in my first year. Actually, that's how I met Afton. I got lost (I was reading Get Backers at the time) and ran into her. She helped my find Velvet Hall. Velvet Hall is where we eat and stuff. Anyway, I'm in Caelum. It's really bright yellow, but you get used to it after awhile.

I met Gabriel and his kitten, Orange (I kid you not, this kid had a kitten). I always see him around girls, but maybe that kitten thing really works. Well, anyway, he knew about anime and stuff, so I chatted with him for awhile. I also met Rosie. She transferred to Salem in my second year. She's fun, she's a bit shy though. And then I met Red. She's cool. She seems a bit boyish aside from the fact that she likes dances. I think it's kind of funny that back at home I never really talked to girls, but here at Salem, all my friends are girls. I'm not really sure how that happened. I guess it's cos there aren't very many guys here or in my class.
