Dalmeiier Family

Once considered one of the great wizarding families, the Dalmeiiers were one of the establishing families in New England wizarding society. Indeed, they can trace their lineage back through German royalty.

In the centuries since, the Dalmeiiers as a clan have dwindled, as has their prestige and some of their fortune. They exist now as a handful, spread out over the country:

Head of the family is shared by its oldest members, Etolia and Maggie Dalmeiier, a pair of spinster sisters more interested in traveling every corner of the globe than actually managing this unruly bunch.

Their nephews, a matched set, couldn't be any more different.

Crispin Dalmeiier, the eldest, made the mistake of, as he says, temporarily losing his mind and falling for a Muggle woman. Instead of doing the honorable thing for both his wife and daughter, Crispin fled to Ireland and started a new family, leaving the half-blood Corinthia (Crin to anybody who wants to keep his or her skin) to first her mother Rita, and then to Rita's son and Crin's half-brother, New York City cop Evan Westminster. Evan and his wife Eileen have three children.

Crispin has two other children with his second wife, Michele Dalmeiier - Coriander (Andy) and Lysander (Leo). Though both were raised in Ireland, they attended Salem and were suitably sorted into the Sal Salis House.

Crispin's twin brother Christopher bucked family traditions as well by marrying a Squib. With his two sons, Erris and Jakob, and his Squib daughter Cori, he runs a dragon farm in New Mexico.

Following the family tradition of avoiding wizards, Crin snubbed her father and her heritage by entering into a marriage of convenience with Jackson "Jacks" Templeton, former proprietor of Limbo. At the time of this entry, the estranged husband and wife have not laid eyes on each other in over two years.
