Hello, I am Alicia Culhane, of the Boston Culhanes. I live in the magical part of Boston with my parents, Andrew and Elizabeth "Betsy". I am a fifth year Aether at Salem. It is the best house, but unfortunately it's let in some rather disgraceful students in recent years. I think there might even be some of less than pure blood.

I am my father's only legitimate child, but I do have an illegitimate half-sister named Harmony. Father insists I be nice to her and Grandmother Rebecca, our family matriarch since my grandfather's death, often has me spy on her. I resent that fact that I have to pay attention to her and acknowledge her existance but do it anyway because I want to remain in Grandmother's good graces and maintain my place as her favorite granddaughter. I can't believe I'm at all related to someone like Harmony. She's so pathetic. It must come from her mother's side. After all, her mother was disowned and her biological great-aunt is certifiably insane and completely lacking in manners. It's that old bat's fault that this scandal came out at the Festival of Frogs my first year. It's rumored he has other illegitimate children too, like this older boy in Sal Salis named Mitchell or something who seems to be as loony and disreputable as many of his housemates. I truly hope he's not my brother as he is older and male. I still have legitimacy on my side though. The one good thing I can say about my father's less than appropriate activities that are rumored about is that at least he's never been with anyone who isn't a pureblood. He still has some standards.

I don't really have close friends, though am on fairly decent terms with my roommate, Melissa, by which I mean she doesn't disgust me the way some students at Salem do. I am however, engaged to Mr. Wesley Pierce of the New Hampshire Pierces and cannot wait to graduate so we can wed.
