Siblings: Emily (Aged fourteen at time of Trial) and Francis (birthdate unknown).

Residence: Salem Institute, pretty much throughout, although does show a marked interest in Terrigena (see below). Also, has been known to spend summer's with someone called 'Nate' and his family.

Other:

• In her life Hermia was unfortunate enough to be the only actual witch hung at the Salem Witchcraft Trials, which has earned her the moniker “Hanged Hermia.” (presumably, this would indicate that her sister made it out alive)
  

• While she has no official house affiliation, Hermia is the self-proclaimed Head of Terrigena, although that only seems to have been during the tenure of Blake Dobbs as official Head of House. She does not appear to have pushed the issue since the house was given over to the charge of school Librarian, Lucas Roddick.
  
• Official assistant to Jenny-Jen-Jen-Jen-Jen at some stage.
• Made a serious (for her) attempt at filling the position of School Nurse while the school was looking for a replacement for the Nurse Aria.
  
• In recent years, Hermia has pursued a relationship with one of the students at Salem Institute, Travis Larson (class of 9 SI).
• In life, she was a mediocre witch, at best - "Her magic was worse than second rate. She barely got anything right, but even if her wand work had always been perfect, she had never cast a charm to hurt anyone in her life (though, if she got out of here alive, she would now be sorely tempted). The most damage she had ever caused was when her Potion making went wrong..."
• As a result of being hung, Hermia can accurately be said to have lost her grip on reality. Her personality, ability and brain function were severely impacted on by the loss of oxygen in the last moments of her life, the results of which are readily noticable in her ghostly presence.
• Hermia was severely effected by the plague of -4 SA / 2 SI. If memory serves correctly, she became corporal. That said, actual evidence of this on the boards has either been lost, or is yet to be refound.
