Earl Valentine

Full Name: Earl Gabriel Valentine

Family: The Valentines, a muggle family, arrived in America from Italy to escape WWI violence. They changed their surname to Valentine from Valentino to acclimate themselves better to the American life. After living a hard life in New York, the Valentines traveled West to seek their fortune. They settled in the outskirts of San Fransisco until the end of WWII, at which time the family moved down to Los Angeles, where Earl and his brothers and sister were born.

Earl's grandfather, Jonathan, met and fell in love with a beautiful girl from Mexico, Carmen. They married and had two children, David and Edward. David, the eldest, went into the Navy after high school and fell in love with a girl from South Africa named Susan. They had one child, Charlotte, who is currently nineteen. Edward married Penelope Argyris.

The Arygris' are from Athens and still reside there today. Aglaia Xylander and Stephanos Arygris wanted their three daughters to get an American education. The two younger sisters (Selene and Zoe) went to Sonora, but it was apparent when she was very young, that Penelope was a Squib and was therefore sent to a small school in California that caters to Squibs from all over the world.

Edward and Penelope met when they went to the same college. They married and had five children before Penelope died of bone cancer.

Eddie Jr., now 20, is the eldest and is the only child born without magical powers and he resents everyone in his family that does have them. He ditches class, is rude to everyone, does drugs and got his girlfriend, Stevie Mckenna, pregnant. They now have a baby girl, named Taylor. In Earl's third year, Eddie ran off and no one has heard from him since. Stevie and her daughter is now living with the Valentines.

Personality: Earl tries to act tough because his face is so adorable, but rarely succeeds. He loves to draw, but won’t let anybody see except for Eavan because it’s really “girly”. Earl is finally getting out of the ‘cooties’ stage and is very interested in the opposite sex, but he tends to get very nervous around the ones he likes.

Earl plays Keeper for his house Quidditch team (Crotalus) and has a Great Horned owl named Alban and a Nimbus 2000.
