My name is Allric Atratus and I am 18; finally an adult. I attended and graduated from the Salem Institute, and was sorted into the Aether House.

My mother, father, brother, and the rest of my "known" family are dead, except Colleen Atratus. She is my father's niece and only survived because, like I, was attending school at the time of the murders. They were murdered when I was still attending Salem. The murderer was thought to be a leader of a dark group of purebloods that had a long lasting grudge with my family. My family's murderer still hasn't been caught.

Now at the age of 18, I am living on my own. My family immigrated to the States many years before I was born. They settled in the Northern part of Maine. I was born in the States, but my family decided to move back to Ireland soon after I was accepted to Salem. My brother Nick was suppose to attend the Salem Institute, but instead attended the Dalkey Institute in Dublin, Ireland- a place where all the Atratuses have been schooled at, except me.
